Die Durchlade-Breite erscheint aufgrund der zusammenlaufenden Hecks recht schmal. Hat jemand die lichte Breite? Passt das eine Klappbox 36cm Breite / 12er Cola-Kiste längs durch?
Die Idee mit der Klappe finde ich gut. Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass man hierüber auch mal längere Gegenstände raushängen lassen kann.

Das dürfte auch eine Frage der Reifen bzw. des Reifendruckes sein. Das lässt sich sicherlich noch mal deutlich verbessern.

Has there been a demonstrator / prototype produced with the Pinion gearbox up front, and hub motors on the rear wheels, rather than crank drive (Bafang BBS) and a derailleur at the back?
I think Pinion + hub motors should help to move the chain up higher from the ground, and might mean that the entire chain could be covered, which would make the QuadVelo a very good commuter vehicle. Rear hub motors are probably more reliable in the long run as well (particularly if they are direct drive motors).

Very tempting indeed - I might have to make a purchase when it is available - this just seems to tick many boxes in terms of luggage capacity, interior space, stability, ease of entry and exit, built-in wiper and durable body work - perfect for commuting. Will the Heinzmann version also be available through the quadvelo website, or is it just through velomo as a special order?
Then again, I'd still like an Alpha9 for fun - if only my wife would agree. Apparently I already have too many bikes!

Stimmt bei mir genauso mit den Anforderungen. Als Reaktion auf den vorherigen Post hatte ich gerade auch eine Anfrage an die Belgier gemacht, ob und wann es das gibt. Wenn es die Kombi mit Pinion gäbe würde ich es auch mit 1000€ plus auf der Stelle verbindlich bestellen, zumindest wenn es einen halbwegs realistischen Lieferzeitpunkt in der ersten Hälfte von 2022 gibt...

Ähm, Danke für das Feedback direkt nach Belgien. Denn bislang ist es v.a. mein Standpunkt, dass wir unbedingt den Pinion-RN111-Strang als Standard setzen sollten statt den ZF-Kassetten-Strang, mit dem jetzt erstmal alle Betas beliefert werden.
Also Technik steht bereit, ich hab sie aber noch nicht in den Prototypen eingepflanzt... mir fehlt manpower... Sobald das drin ist und ich Belgien den störungsfreien Serienbetrieb durchbuchstabieren kann, wird die Option - höchstwahrscheinlich - mit aufgenommen.

4x4 = nein, definitiv nicht in Serie. Sowas Ähnliches hab ich als individuelle Offroad-Auftragsarbeit mit Diff auf Vorderachse und 2 Heinzmännern hinten vorliegen, aber für einen 0815-Kabinenroller macht das so überhaupt keinen Sinn. Da wird es auch nur einen Motor geben, d.h. 1,3kw Spitze, nicht 2x"125W".

Meine Frau und ich hatten letztens erst wieder davon gesprochen, dass sich für uns ein Zweitauto nicht wirklich lohnt und sobald unser aktuelles zweites kaputt geht (ist bald 17 Jahre alt), wir mal nach einer Alternative schauen.
Daher warte ich immer sehnsüchtig auf neue Infos, auch wenn vorerst nur aus Interesse.
