Ich wette 1000€, dass Du es lernen kannst (und solltest).I have lived in Germany for 8 years and speak German fluently but I cannot say the ü properly and cannot hear the distinction between ü and u in many cases as I just didn’t hear these sounds when young. It makes a difference for tenses/conditional, so “wurde” or “würde” have different meanings but I can’t hear the difference, which means I can’t say the properly either. Which is probably also because I am teetotal!
