Alpha 9

A patch on the body for attaching our racing transponder tags that is not made of carbon fiber because it will not work if it is mounted directly on carbon fiber because it interferes with the signal.

Mir fällt auf, dass die Zugangsklappen an den Vorderrädern der ideale Ort für die Glasfaserklebefläche für die anzubringenden Transponder-Tags wären.
 
Will the Alpha 9 be available in mass from Romanian factory or will this be a Daniel Fenn special only?

Please Daniel, the poll shows that closed wheel arches (now that you have solved wheel removal issues) are the clear preference. Who doesn't want maximum speed/efficiency in an open top velomobile???? The people want the AFTER-7 available from Romania at the 10k euro price. Send it to Ro, then you can focus you time on new developments like Alpha9, without dissappointing all the After 7 customers who have to wait so long. Of course, there will always be people who will pay a premium for a ultra light Daniel special, but many more (like me) just want their ideal velomobile (After7 with tiller) in a more affordable version from Ro.

Ahh the problems of being in such high demand ... :)

Das Neue Vm mit geschlossenen Radhäusern vorne, also das Alpha 9 wird ausschließlich zumindest ist das vorerst so angefacht aus Rumänien kommen. Ich baue nur die ersten Zwei. Eines für mich und unseren Hund. Und das erste oder Zweite A9 je nach Wunsch wird stark dokumentiert und im Vorfeld versteigert. Das erste Gebot ist schon beachtlich.

Werden also Ihre bestehenden Bauaufträge durch viel Daniel beeinflusst werden?

Das klingt jetzt nicht gerade nach echt eigener Erfahrung deinerseits.
Nach meinen Probefahrten mit drei Carbon QuestXS'en v. 2013-2015 muss ich sagen, dass sie kaum Steifigkeit vermissen lassen.
Sie sind auch unverstärkt deutlich steifer als gleich alte Normalgröße Queste.
