Marc is right, do no solder Li-Ion cells, at best you will shorten their life expectancy, at worse they will explode.
Even badly done spot welding can damage the negative pole of a cell, the roll of "sauce" is connected to the negative pole in the center. If you look closely at a 18650 cell you will see a tiny dimple there. My first battery has a couple of cells I managed to damage by bad welding - you can see the difference of internal resistance when you test the finished battery, the whole parallel group suffers not just the one cell.
