Das war Anfang Juli.

'n Abend, so, dann nehme ich auch mal Platz.

So, mal sehen, wie lange ich jetzt warten darf. Beim Mango ist die Lieferzeit ja eigentlich erträglich.

Hmm, ich sitze hier noch immer.

Langsam werde ich unruhig. Eigentlich wollte ich jetzt schon die ersten 1000km hinter mir haben.
Was machen die SinnerBikes/Drymer - Leute da nur so lange?!

Ach was, z. Zt. sind es doch nur ein paar Wochen... Damals haben wir Jahre auf Quest u.ä. gewartet.
Bin selbst schon auf Platz 5 vorgerückt, FREU!

Excitement is Building

Just back from a Family holiday in South Africa and see my DF XL order is now number 4 in the list? (on 23.10.16)

Would normally say it looks like Christmas is coming early to the house in 2016 but the VM is my 60th Birthday present - Thanks to the Family

Any tips to look out for when adjusting the VM for fit would be very welcome, as would be to gather some tips as to what you more expert / experienced VM riders (drivers?) carry in the way of tools and spares with you on your rides? May be that could be another thread! Thanks.

I have seen in videos that some riders take a workshop pump for their tyres, is there a version with fold up feet to save space. Not sure I want to inflate tyres to 8 to 10 bar (again)! with a mini pump!

Many thanks, it is a very useful link regarding pumps, and VM information.

Now the difficult bit is to make a choice as to which pump best suits my needs!

Will wait for the DF XL to arrive and see what valves are fitted on the tyres then choose.

Do you know already that at least from July on a Zefal pump is part of the tool kit which comes together with the DFXL? This pump naturally fits to the valves of the VM.

Könntest Du bitte mal kurz auflisten, was noch alles dabei ist (Werkzeug, Ersatzreifen, -schlauch?)
Wenn ich meins abhole, möchte ich das nicht unbedingt doppelt dabei haben.

Bei mir war neben der Pumpe noch eine schwarze Velomobiltasche von Radical Design, ein 5mm Inbus Schlüssel für Hinterachse und Radschrauben und ein kleinerer Torx Schraubendreher für die Wartungsklappen sowie Flickzeug dabei.

denke nicht das es so lange dauert, er wird vorgezogen, das sagte ich ja Rekordversuche werden von mir immer unterstützt.

Bei mir auch! Darauf achten, dass der richtige Schlüssel für das Hinterrad beiliegt, bei mir war es ein 4-mm-Schlüssel, der musste dann ausgetauscht werden.
