Quest 696 is looking for a new owner - is that you?
Light en fast velomobil witch works well for most activities like daily commuting, touring and race. Properly fits persons between 175-200cm - at the moment adjusted for 189cm and size 48.
Specs:
Model: Carbon Quest (nr 696 fra 2013) – 28-29kg when unloaded according to the specifications.
KM: 28.231km
Gear: 2x10 XO SRAM gripshift, SRAM GX rear derailleur (medium arm), Shimano tiagra front deraileur, SRAM force crankset (165mm) withd STAGES powermeter, chainrings 38-65T, casette 11-36T – god setup for most terrain. Most driveparts changes about 2000km ago and chain put in new PTFE tubes.
Wheels: 2 x 20” Axelrims/Sturmeay hub (light'is), 1 x 26” tubeless ready rear wheel – all with Marathon+ on at the moment. I have wheelcovers for all wheels but not mounted at the moment.
Hood: Sinner hood in carbon – a few minor scratches and from normal usage. Neopren-cover also included.
Power/light: Turning Lights, adjustable front light, light inside, brake light and "warning blinking light". 3 x 6v 4,2 Ah battery + charger.
Diverse parts: Ventisit seat+floor+neck. Shimano spd-r pedals. Alu rear svingarm. Tool for removing the rear wheel + original foodpump. 2 side mirrors with cover. New and unused visir from Velomobile.nl. Cover for the whole velomobile. 70mm drum brakes (might need a bit cleaning), Cateye Enduro cykelcomputer. 2 x bottle holders. Simpel but effektive alarm with remote. At the moment it has a few minor decals on the side but easy to remove. It has an engraved danish serialnumber on one of the alu parts. Armrest also included but they are not som pretty because the dog played a bit with them.
Adjustment made:
* Seat moved a bit forward to get the mass center closer to the front wheels
* Made ventilation holes in the carbon seat for better ventilation
* Made the arm on the front derailleur longer to make the change easier
Defect fixed:
Alu part from holding the rear swingarm broke but has been repaired by a prof carbon repair caompany and the alu part has been changed with a new one from Velomobile.nl
Defect:
* Paint on the front has one minor area where the gel-paint has cracked from hitting a buck not moving on the road - but gluede back and is not that visible.
* Schratches on the bottum from hitting rock and so on - only kosmetik - was thinking of using at alu-rail from the local building depo below to not get more (10 euro?)
Located:
Near Christiansfeld in Denmark - 65km from the German border.
Price: 5500euro
Please write if you have any questions or need further information
Ps. pictures op to date will be uploaded son (this one is from august this year)
