I put this bike up for sale last year. I decided then to keep it because I use it to train on a track. Now I'm putting it up for sale again because I'm expecting the Snoek in December, I ride the MTB every week and I've recently started with calisthenics and fitness. There is just too little time, and although it sounds cliché, I have to start reducing my bike collection. I recently read that @Jack-Lee lee had six times the amount of bicycles owned in his life so far, so there is still room for improvement. Anyway, about this bike I actually already wrote something in the previous topic. https://www.velomobilforum.de/forum/index.php?threads/nme-lowracer.60228/#post-1198826
*The bike is equipped with rotor cranks.
*Single sprocket front.
*Ground clearance is less than 13 cm (=seat height).
*Carbon front wheel 20" 28-406
*Carbon rear wheel 26" 28-571
*Disc brake in front (nothing in the rear, I don't need it)
*Erlkönig tyre in front
*Continental 4000S II tyre in the rear
*2 (!) tail fairings
*Extra carbon wheel 20" (Bikesmc)
*Candyred colour (done by Color money)
*Type of cassette, chain and derailleur I need to check
This bike can be ridden with 2x 20 inch or 20-26 inch. If you put a 20" wheel in the back you can actually see under your handlebars. It is not practical, but if you buy such a bike, you are not looking for a practical bike. 20-26 works best in my opinion. Someone once asked me whether you can ride it to work. Well, in principle you can ride all bikes to work. But I prefer checking my surroundings instead of being seen.
Furthermore, this bike is designed for racing/training. A few months ago, I rode 44.1 km/h for 1 hour on average on a windy track and pedalled 217 watts. Some will think, is that it? I was recovering from a muscle tear and was not training optimally with zwift. This bike has a lot of potential. In my opinion, more than the highracer that I have put up for sale here. Just search in google for Eric Baeten and you will know enough. The combination of fast tyres quickly gives a speed increase of 4-5 km/h!
This is a bike that I have loved for years, and still do, the bike does not necessarily have to go. I weighed the weight of the bike with tail a while ago: 15.1 kilograms. Some might be surprised, but as long as you have not ridden the bike in its fastest version, you cannot give a sensible opinion. In any case, the bike is fast. It looks like it, and Eric's titles prove it. Asking price is 3299 €. As long as it is not sold, I will keep using it when I can.
