Hallo,
Gerrit, der auch hier ab und zu schreibt, hat eine sehr interessante Aussage von Sam Wittingham in das Forum von 'bentrideronline gepostet. Sam führt darin seine Leistungswerte fürs Liegerad und Upright (wer es noch nicht weiß, Sam fährt weit mehr Upright- als Liegerrennen mit) auf. Interessant ist, daß seine Ausdauerwerte gleich sind, die kurzzeitige Maximalleistung auf dem Up' aber wesentlich höher ist. Ob das am Wiegetritt liegt?

upright racing bike peak power: 1600 watts
Semi recumbent (varna) peak power: 1100 watts
fully recumbent peak power: 950 watts
1 hour wattage(all positions): 330-350 watts
Average wattage of final 90 sec of BM sprint: 500(rough guess)
Peak wattage of final 90 sec of BM sprint: 700-800 watts(rough guess)

Indicative , but not conclusive , as we don't know how much time he spends training in the (semi) recumbent position . The good new is that long term power does not seem to be affected at all .
