Shell Eco-Marathon artige Rennserie für Velocars

Hallo,

gibt es denn für Velocars (im Sinne von mit hybrider e- / Muskelantrieb) eine Rennserie ähnlich des Shell Eco-Marathon?
Vllt sogar offen für Schüler/Studigruppen?
Oder dürfte man mit einem derartigen Hybriden auch am Shell Eco-Marathon oder der World Solar Challenge teilnehmen? Vermutlich eher nicht.

The best idea would be to contact the organisers of those races and convince them to create a category for velocars. Then we would need some rules:

- everyone with the same motor, say a Bafang BBS02, scrutineering
- batteries also standard, the organiser holds a draw so you get the battery with the number drawn from a hat
- in the case of a hub motor same thing, the hub motors are drawn before the start
- or open choice of battery and motor, the race organiser provides a stock 25 Amp 36/48v controller
- open class, the one where the velocars catch fire and explode after 30 minutes of racing

Do we have a weight limit like the UCI? Professional and amateur classes, age classes...
