Some people who still think they know better really need to be confronted with one of these rims—just to watch their ego get absolutely crushed in real time.
No. This is not about egos to get tires mounted. I even tell in my last message:
I do not say this always works, but to my experience: strength is not the main goal when dealing with tires.
The point is that you should never have to apply ridiculously high force on a tire to mount it. If you did all correct as I assume, the rim tire combination does not work. That should be accepted.
Adding pliers and body builders to the equation is not accepting the fact that the tolerance simply do not meet. That is all I have to say in last message.
Either a tire fits, or it does not. If it does not fit, you have to accept that you need a different rim, a different tire or both.
