Die hatte ich dabei. Keine Chance, hat nicht geholfen. Es war aber auch alles nass und sowieso am regnen. Die ist immer abgerutscht.

Da hilft dann nur ein Handtuch, um die Nässe vorher zu entfernen.

Ich bin die POSR jetzt mehrere Hundert Kilometer gefahren, VR+HR. Die sind deutlich schneller als CCU bei etwas schlechterer Nasshaftung. Allerdings bin ich nicht Tubeless, sondern mit TPU-Schlauch gefahren.
Am Freitag ist dann mein persönlicher Albtraum wahr geworden. HR platt und der Reifen will nicht aus dem Hump. (Radiale E25)
Nur leider war ich am Freitag kurz vor Bingen und damit fast 250km von zuhause entfernt.
Tja, aktuell mit der Bahn auf dem Rückweg und morgen mal um den Rücktransport kümmern.
Abgesehen von dieser „Kleinigkeit“ sind die Reifen super. Ich will die auch mit TPU weiter fahren, werde aber wohl das hintere Laufrad gegen eines tauschen, bei dem die Reifen auch unterwegs aus dem Hump zu bekommen sind.

Does it actually make sense to run faster tyres at the front if you have GP5000 at the back that you are not replacing? I assume most people using a fast tyre at the front keep using the GP5000 as most reliable and faster tyre, correct?

I have POSR on front wheels and CCU on the rear - I want wet grip at the rear.
And yes, it still makes a large difference vs.CCU front and back.

meine billige Mini-Schraubzwinge (abgesägt auf Spannweite 50 mm) bekommt bisher jeden Reifen vom Hump -
auch ein sehr zäher und schmaler M+ in 25-559 hatte zuletzt keine Chance (sorry für den OT-Reifen).

Michelin WildRun'R in 35-559 wäre vielleicht noch zu erwähnen (bin ich noch nicht gefahren, wurde aber immer mal wieder empfohlen).

Ich hab den gerade drauf, ist ok.

Das Quest soll aerodynamischer sein wenn es hinten etwas höher kommt. Das geht mit einem dicken Reifen, der bleibt bei Druckverlust natürlich nicht so stabil auf der Felge. Eine Alternative ist 28", das passt mit schmalen Reifen ins Quest und dann hat man viel Auswahl an guten Reifen!

I don't know exactly. But aren't all rims on all snoek velomobiles the same type?

this is not the snoek thread, this is tyre thread, so why should the others know what rim is used in your snoek? ... We need to know whether it is a tubelessrim and the inner width. Without this one cannot give you a tape recommendation. I'd use the rim as it is right now, try to mount the POSR and if it doesn't work, then i'd think about replacing the rim tape...
