Isle of Man - CC: Erstmals auch für Velomobile

That was a very hard ride ride, the body is screaming no-more! But it proves overall velomobiles are the king of the road ! I'm very happy to see that I was fastest, but how I wished I had an Alpha 7 going up the Mountain! Fastest speed was 71 mph (114 km/h).

It was so good to meet Armin after the ride such a gentleman thank you @Dynamik for waiting at the finish line, you are my hero and I wish good fortune and a tail wind for your ride home!
 
The last 2 years the mountain course was not used because the wind was too strong so Andy won the 12hr challenge on a lower route, if we had done that this year the velomobiles would have been much faster, not that I think I could beat Andy Jackson!

Kann man schon machen, das Sortieren nach Geschwindigkeit. Aber genau das wollte der Veranstalter nicht. Und zwar mit gutem Grund. Ranglisten sind nun mal problematisch. Beim IOM-CC müsste man ja drei Gruppen für 1-, 2- und 3-Runden-Fahrer machen, dann noch zwei Gruppen für weibliche und männliche Teilnehmer und schliesslich noch 3 Altersgruppen. Natürlich noch die Gruppen für Uprights und Upwrongs (neuer Begriff für Velomobile, wurde sicher nicht von einem VM-Fahrer kreiert). Am Schluss haben wir mehr Gruppen als Fahrer. Dafür kann jeder in seiner Gruppe Erster werden.
