???Is anyone using a recent Velomobiel.nl BB holder for their Bafang?
I am not happy with this product, the BB tube is too large and the motor moves inside the tube which is not a very good idea. I don't understand this problem because I don't think Bafang will be changing the motor castings very often so the tube should fit nice and snug over the motor. Theo told me in an e-mail they solve this problem by adding shims so I have been trying to do that. How many shims and what thickness I had to guess by myself...
Hast du eine Drehmoment-Stütze montiert? That is not enough to stop the drive side of the motor from moving, there is over 1 mm of play. If the Bafang motor had a small lip at the drive end that the tube could press onto it would work but mine is smooth and so at each pedal stroke (when climbing) the motor moves despite the 25-30 Nm torque on the nuts on the other end...
