Haben alle WAW eine Schwinge? Sonderlösung wäre wohl auch ohne Schwinge notwendig. Aber warum dann damit
nicht auch bremsen und die Energie zurückholen?
WAW has a standard bicycle dropout. It makes it very easy to install various drive motors.
Grin Technology has a solution for a hub motor that allows regeneration when brakes are applied.
Learn why we chose to keep our focus primarily on hub motor drive systems over mid-drive conversions.

My Catrike Dumont has a TSDZ2 500W motor. I've set this up for no assistance above 80 rpm, as I usually ride 90-110 rpm. With a 52V 19.5Ah 4.2kg battery, I can get 160 km on hilly roads. (100 miles, 3000 ft climbing). Such a good range is that it is only used when starting, with almost no assistance faster than 20kph. Typical 10-speed cassette, 11-36, 42T chainring gear.
My WAW has a 250W Bafang Motor. I'm not fond of it as much as the TSDZ as the motor is still engaged for a second or two when I stop pedaling, so I have to adjust when I can shift my Rohloff.
For commuting and in-town errands, I like the WAW having a motor. For Randonneuring. I prefer a 32/56 or Schlumpf Speed drive as I wish to travel 180km between stopping overnight without the weight of 15kg (motor & batteries).
Sorry for the English; my German has gotten worse since I moved back to the USA in 1990.
