Gratulation an alle Beteiligten.

Hier der Bericht:
<i> On June 22th, the "Classique Genevoise" (a racing bike event near Geneva Switzerland) has been competed.
For the first time, 23 recumbents took part in this race... And you know what : the First 5 are all recumbents :
1) Werner De Hammer (M5 CLR)
2) Seppe Hoozgad (M5 Chromo LR)
3) Thomas SCHOTT (Razz-Fazz)
4) Charles Henry (Birk Comet)
5) Vincent PFISTER (Baron X-Low)
Werner win by 9 minutes over the first racing bike... Quite a bit on a less than 2 hours race quite hilly (80 km 600 meter elevation).
Apart the races, good saturday night in Geneva. Good discussion with Thomas Schott + M5 team... (Tailfairing + other speed secrets...) Thomas was incredible with his 102 kg and shortest gearing 61/32 with a 28" wheel... Gosh... And Vincent Pfister win over the first racing bike on a sprint uphill with his Baron... Who said that Bent can't climb... Except that, Werner de Hammer told me that he was systematically faster on a recumbent than on a racing bike... And he race also a lot with standard racing bike... (a month ago he was third in Holland in a racing bike event with more than 1000 participants...)
See the result on page 11 on "futurebike" category...
